Welcome to Matchie. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website, online store, and all related services operated by Matchie (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting our site, accessing our shop, or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

1. Eligibility & Account Information

By using our website, you confirm that:

We do our best to accurately represent all Matchie pieces through descriptions and imagery. Please note:

  • Colours and appearance may vary depending on your device or screen

  • Minor variations in print placement or fabric texture may occur due to manufacturing processes

  • All product descriptions, pricing, sizing, and availability are subject to change without notice

We may limit quantities or discontinue products at our discretion.

3. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is considered accepted only when we send you a confirmation email.

Matchie may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including (but not limited to):

  • Stock unavailability

  • Pricing errors

  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity

  • Incomplete or invalid information

If we cancel or amend your order, we will attempt to contact you using the details provided at checkout.

All purchases are subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.

You agree that products purchased are for personal use only and not for resale.

4. Pricing, Billing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without notice.

By completing a purchase, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date billing details

  • Ensure your payment method is valid and authorised

  • Pay all charges including product prices, shipping, and applicable taxes

We may offer promotions from time to time. Promotion-specific terms will override these Terms where applicable.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk

We dispatch from Sydney, Australia.

Once your order has been handed to the carrier (e.g., Australia Post), risk transfers to you. We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by postal or courier services

  • Incorrect shipping details provided by the customer

  • Customs delays for international orders

Estimated delivery timeframes are a guide only and not guaranteed.

6. Intellectual Property

Everything on our website — including trademarks, logos, text, images, product designs, and digital content — is owned by Matchie or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You must not:

  • Use Matchie’s imagery for commercial purposes

9. Our Relationship With Shopify

Matchie is powered by Shopify. Shopify provides the platform that enables our store to operate, but all purchases made through our store are transactions between you and Matchie.

Shopify is not responsible for any issues arising from your purchase. You expressly release Shopify from all claims related to your use of our store.

10. Privacy & Data Usage

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, as well as Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

Because Matchie is hosted on Shopify:

  • Your information may be processed outside Australia

  • Shopify collects certain usage data to operate and improve the platform

You acknowledge you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before using our services.

11. Feedback, Reviews & Submissions

If you submit reviews, suggestions, photos, or other content (“Feedback”), you grant Matchie a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, publish, modify and share that content for business purposes.

You must ensure:

  • The Feedback is your own or you have rights to use it

  • Nothing you submit is false, unlawful, offensive or harmful

  • You do not impersonate another person

We may remove Feedback that breaches these Terms.

12. Errors & Inaccuracies

We may occasionally publish information containing errors or omissions relating to pricing, product details, availability, or shipping.

We reserve the right to:

  • Update information

  • Cancel orders affected by inaccuracies

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Matchie.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours without notice.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the courts of NSW.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on our website.
